i cannot say i am not a little shocked at the golden globes snubbing MILK, but you have to remember this is the group who thought BOBBY was a better film than LETTERS FROM IWO JIMA (based on their best picture nominations). luckily, the academy made the correct decision on that one. i do remember many here saying LETTERS FROM IWO JIMA had no chance after it was snubbed by the globes. luckily they get it wrong from time to time.

What are the chances of "Changeling" or "happy Go Lucky" being released on DVD before the Oscars? Today's the last day they're playing near me, and it's raining heavily. That's the only time I wish I had a car. Hopefully the rain will dissipate by this afternoon and I can try to see one of them then.

I'm sure Cruise is already out on the hunt for a celebratory twink who he'll make lean up against a wall and stand on his head whilst being fucked since, ya know, that's his thing. These nominations make the BFCA look downright credible.
With that said, I'm psyched for the recognition of Eastwood's beautiful score as well as Angelina's performance in Changeling.

I have a lot to say on this, but I have to head to work. I'll be updating my predictions today, I'm sure...at least to clean up the non-contenders and possibly to make a few changes.
