I have to say: I rule!

I'm particularly proud of my Mickey Rourke prediction. I resisted the consensus of Sean Penn since they CLEARLY did not like Milk as much as other groups (but The Wrestler did have two other noms). Also, my Colin Farell was a shot-in-the-dark prediction. Hoffman, Bardem and Franco have all won in the past already. They clearly liked In Bruges to nominate it in the Musical/Comedy picture category and I went with the bigger name/prettier face.
Very astute observations.

I would've won if I had placed runners-up. I would've caught a point each in Supporting Actress and Director. I resisted giving Slumdog a clean sweep and thought they'd throw a bone to Benjamin Button by giving it Director.

Kova had a set of tie-breakers. I don't remember exactly how they went, but I'm pretty sure Best Drama was first, and Best Comedy was second.

By that system, Anonymous would have won.

That's the last time I agree with you Flipp.

OK, I gave 2 points for a correct prediction and 1 point for a runner-up victory. With that, I see a three-way tie:

anonymous, Heksagon, Hustler -- 22
HollywoodZ, ITALIANO -- 20
BigMagilla, OscarGuy -- 19
Bog, FilmFan720 -- 18
Mister Tee, paperboy -- 17
Flipp, Zahveed -- 12

However, anonymous garnered 22 points without listing any runner-ups!

Congrats all.

All right. I'd say no more predictions at this point. It's almost time for the show.

If you want to post your predictions and runners up here, I will calculate them in the morning!

For sanity sake, though, I am going to tabulate the predictions posted here yesterday and today, starting with anonymous'.

If all else fails, I, or someone else, will do the tabulation for the annual contest.
