i read it was about a pair of married gay serial killers who kill women, and plan to place the male head of one of them on the female body of one of their victims.
it sounds twice as ridiculous as THE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS and even more homophobic.

I don't really understand why W. is on this list. It's not really a great movie, and it has a lot of problems, but it in no way deserves to be lumped in with the "worst" of anything. Josh Brolin's performance alone at least makes it worth watching.
The only other film on this list I've seen is The X-Files, which I also don't have much hatred for. It is what it is -- if you were in the mood for an extra-long episode of The X-Files (with a totally anti-climactic ending), you'd like it. If you weren't in the mood for that, you wouldn't like it. Nothing remotely notable, but you could do worse if you're looking for a time-waster.
I'm all for people bringing on comments on things they hate, even if others like them. In other words, I get much enjoyment out of Penelope's diatribes towards Hilary Swank (and Damien's toward cartoons), even if I don't share their opinions.

also homophobic from what i heard. very glad it bombed. plus, i loathe david duchovny so seeing him punished only makes me happy.

some of the selections surprise me. i heard THE OTHER BOLEYN GIRL was not great, but does it really deserve to be on this list more than some films which seem to be missing. where is THE INCREDIBLE HULK, MADAGASCAR 2, STEP UP 2 THE STREETS, EAGLE EYE, etc.
the razzies famously nominated THE PHANTOM MENACE for worst picture, so i was certain they would (dis)honor THE KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL. very surprised it is not on their preliminary list.
also surprised MAMMA MIA is not here. not that i think it should be, but it just seems like the kind of movie the razzies love to hate.

THE DAY THE EARTH BLOWED UP REAL GOOD
DISASTER MOVIE
GET SMART
HANCOCK
MAX PAYNE
MEET THE SPARTANS
SPEED RACER
SUPERHERO MOVIE
VALKYRIE
YES MAN
Of these, I personally don't believe Get Smart, Valkyrie or Yes Man belong here and of the remaining ones, I liked Meet the Spartans probably the best.

I'm very happy that I managed to avoid watching all but two of these. Even as an M. Night Shyamalan fan (I even liked the Village) I found the Happening excruciating. But X-Files was possible even worse to sit through; not inept but pointless, miserable and boring.

Dare I ask what that was?
Oh, it's not a big deal. I recall you posting a review of Jackson's trilogy in time for the third film, but you were among the first to do so, which led people (including myself) to think you'd seen it and were joining the chorus of approval. When that didn't happen, Mister Tee said something like if you had enjoyed the film, he'd declare the oscar race over as Return of the King would win by "acclamation." Given that it pretty much did that, I look back on the comment fondly.
