No way she's supporting in Never Forever. She's in pretty much every scene in the film.

Fine. You made it first. What do you think you're a hero? You're not a hero. Not like this little guy:

So, yeah. You predicted Vera Farmiga. But you didn't drag her injured carcass of a Santiago freeway.

I doubt that the NBR will place The Dark Knight in their top 10. After all, they resisted all three Lord of the Rings pictures.

I used to be good at predicting NBR choices but ever since they split their lists into mainstream and independent choices I haven't a clue guessing their best picture choices any more.

As for acting, I'm thinking Sean Penn (Milk), Kate Winslet (The Reader if not both The Reader and Revolutionary Road), Josh Brolin (Milk) just to be different because everyone else is picking James Franco over Brolin, and Emma Thompson (Brideshead Revisited).

Last year was also atypical in the fact that none of NBR's acting choices were left off the Oscar slate, something which seems to happens every other year if not more often (poor Catherine O'Hara). Out of your list above, could any of these suffer the same fate?
