Captain Abu Raed was a huge crowd-pleaser at Sundance. I missed it there but have a couple chances to see it at local film festivals in the next month or so.

I just watched the trailer for Let the Right One In, and I hope I get the chance to see it! I checked it out because I thought the title sounded like a title of one of Morrissey's songs (Let the Right One Slip In).

Everlasting Moments is directed by Jan Troell. It could prove an irresistible thing for Academy voters to pick a past Oscar contender (The Emigrants and The New Land).

Sweden didn't pick Let the Right One In? Damn. I've been hearing great things about it. Saw the preview. Can't wait to see it.

Oh, well. I doubt a vampire movie will be their cup of tea anyway.
