Good thing EW is owned by Time-Warner! At least the bad blood will be within the company rather than between 2 companies!

summer 2009anonymous wrote:On hindsight though, it might be a wise move. This fall, HBP has more competition with the new Bond movie and the big Oscar-bait/family themed Christmas releases.
While the biggest competition HBP will have during Summer of '09 are Land of the Lost and the G.I. Joe movie.

once again may is completely overwhelmed with big movies which will end up screwing each other over by releasing consecutively. i guess warner bros. hopes to strike gold twice by releasing a big movie at the end of summer.
in the end though, i have heard they made this move less for the benefit of HALF-BLOOD PRINCE and more for their image to investors.
apparently, since they have made more money than god with THE DARK KNIGHT this year, it behooves them to save their other big movie for next year. this way it looks like they had two really great years in a row, rather than one incredible year and a relatively smaller year right after.
once again, warner bros proving what greedy bastards they are.

God, how am I going to function now that the same fucking movie I've seen five times before isn't going to be released immediately? That's it. I'm becoming a tranny. I'm chopping my dick off because there's no point in being a man if I can't see a new/exactly the same 'Harry Potter' movie RIGHT FUCKING NOW!!!
