Here are some musicals that I wasn't aware of but are currently listed as 2008 films. I'm not an IMDBPro member, so I can't get anymore details, but at least one of these, has a confirmed release date.

Nine: Rob Marshall--
Well at least he has some experience with Chicago, unlike Burton. I sincerely hoped that Banderas would star in this, as he was so good on stage. But no: it's Bardem. Hopefully, he can **sing**, again unlike the wispy little voices we heard with Sweeney Todd.
And Cotillard again. Hmmm.....

Yes Wesley, it is one of the greatest documentaries of all time. Put it at #3 on your Netflix queue, after The Conversation and Lenny. :)

You should see the documentary made by the Maysles Brothers. That's the original GREY GARDENS.

Although some of these films are not slated for release in 2005, I thought I'd post some of the Broadway Musicals coming to the big screen in 2008 and beyond...

Just in time to aggravate Damien to no end in 2008, Grey Gardens is coming to the big screen starring Drew Barrymore as 'Little' Edith Bouvier Beale, Jessica Lange as 'Big' Edith Bouvier Beale, Jeanne Tripplehorn as Jackie Kennedy Onassis and Daniel Baldwin as Julius Krug. I don't know who all should be listed to get Damien's dander up, but this should suffice. :)

Mamma Mia! (2008) Already discussed in another thread.

Fame is being remade for 2008 (I know this wasn't on Broadway, but thought I'd bring it up anyway).

Nine (2009) (Penelope)

These are the ones I could find so far, but there may be more.
