Thanks for the tip Rain Bard on the Derek Jarman documentary. I had no idea there was one and by Isaac Julien at that. I look forward to seeing it in the future.

Ballast was one of the best films I saw at Sundance. Yasukuni was one of the worst. I was under the impression that the Derek Jarman documentary Derek was playing at Berlin too. Being the next best thing to a Jarman ignoramus, it was probably my favorite documentary I saw at the festival this year, just because I learned so much from it. Maybe it's in another Berlinale section. I know that's a staggeringly huge festival.
