so this is just a dramatic adaptation of the documentary, not a screen adaptation of the musical, right?

Is it just me, or does Drew's face seem to get longer each project she's in?

A "first look" trailer is up for the HBO production of "Grey Gardens". To anyone familiar with the documentary, the makeup jobs on the Edies look pretty remarkable and the set design looks exemplary as well. Early concerns (on this board and elsewhere) over whether or not Drew Barrymore could pull off Little Edie seem to have been addressed (it appears she does).

As I've stated previously, my great-grandfather is one of the characters in this film, portrayed by Daniel Baldwin as Little Edie's married lover. In this mini-trailer, his character can be seen dancing with young Edie and then again with her at a train station.
