There is a picture circulating now of President Obama taking a selfie before the service started.

In other news, FOXNews just found tonight's headline...
"Men get to be a mixture of the charming mannerisms of the women they have known." - F. Scott Fitzgerald

An amazing man. For the years that he suffered, and for what he accomplished as an activist and then a politician, he had to rank as one of the most inspiring people on the planet. The world is an imminently better place because of him. Godspeed.

Other than he was greatest, most significant public figure in my lifetime, there is nothing I can say about this. Nothing I could say would do him justice.

R.I.P. Nelson Mandela

He can be legitimately considered one of the most consequential statesmen of modern times. To have endured what he did for nearly three decades, and to emerge not seeking payback but putting himself at the service of healing his country...it stands glaringly outside the norm of modern politics.
