For someone who liked the film, you sure gave it an awfully low rating.

And I'm not remembering what Teacher scene you're referring to. If you want to refresh my memory by pm, you're welcome to.
It's on my list further down the page that I posted in July.

I've see The Bridge to Terabithia. It was on my list of July 10 below. I don't know why I saw the film in the first place because it had no appeal to me but it turned out to be quite different to what I had expected from the trailer. The last hour of the film was very moving and easily the best part of the film. Certainly superior to Narnia to which is bears no resemblance, despite the terrible trailer.

It also contains one of the best scenes of the year from any film. It's towards the end of the film and is between Josh Hutcherson and his teacher. This scene is what great cinema moments are all about.

Here is my latest list for films released this year. I have only included films that I have seen from 11 July 2007 to date.

The year is far from over and already I'm in a state of relative bliss-out. 2006 was a fantastic year and 2007 is starting to follow suit. Biggest upgrade so far is the wonderfully schizophrenic 'The Host', which benefits so strongly from Bong's ADD (in its hybrid structure) and OCD (in his deft visual choreography).

Aside from the fact that it is made by my people, how was the music for this movie? Amon Tobin did the soundtrack, and he is one of the few true creative geniuses that music has right now, though I haven't found the music for it.
To be honest I can't remember what the music was like as the visuals were so overwhelming. Vintage John Waters pales in comparison in Taxidermia.

It's August, with little to distract me until the Prestige movies of the fall, so I figure that I will start rating the movies I have seen so far this year (which, for accuracy's sake, will exclude the 2006-released Oscar nominees I tore through in January and February).

Hah! Exactly right.
Ditto. And I also agree that The Host is nothing special.
