I hope she is still “a joy and delight,” Sonic, at least most of the time.

As Reza said, time really flies by. My daughter is turning 17 in a couple of months. Aftersun is her favourite movie this year, so far.

All the best for you and your daughter Sonic.

Time flies by fast. She is almost a young lady now soon to enter her teens. Enjoy her as they grow up so fast and move away.

Thank you again, everyone. After four days, she is just a joy and a delight.

Thank you, everyone.

She's only a day and a half old, and I can confirm that raising a baby is not for the cowardly or impatient. But we are madly in love with her. It's a cliché to say it's the best thing that ever happened in my life, but it's true. She is a beautiful baby, and although very small she's healthy in every regard, knock wood. She even has a lovely (read: non-screechy) cry. She poops, too, but that's okay. I forgive her this one imperfection.

This means going to fewer movies for a while and that's fine. At least we're in the weak part of the movie-going season.

Congratulations man!

A new life will start today for you

My daughter was born 6 and a half years ago.

This year was the first year I tried to pass my film and oscar love and we watched all the animated films together (except Frankenweenie). Her favourite was Wreck-it-Ralph and she thought Brave was pretty average :)
