Gosh, sorry Wes. Get well soon. I'm getting more flakey as I get older.

Having had a few of these procedures myself I can definitely empathize. Yes, sunscreen is your friend, as is your dermatologist, who you should see routinely if you're prone to these kinds of lesions. I hope you heal up soon.

Take care of yourself.

These so-called "minor" surgeries aren't really minor other than that you don't have stay in the hospital overnight. If the antibiotics are making you sleep, they're working even if you can't see the results.

Last Thursday, I had a minor surgery to remove a skin cancer lesion from my forehead. What should have been a 48-72 hour recovery is now stretching into its fifth day. It appears I've developed an infection and the antibiotics are taking their sweet time to work.

As soon as this all passes and I really do hope for "soon," I'll be a bit more active. If you find something not posted to the website with the normal speed, you will now know why.

Sunscreen is your friend.
