Stay safe, guys!!
The remnants are pounding my house on the Jersey shore. We're expected to get up to four inches of rain by morning. Nothing like what occurred in the Panhandle but the worst since eight inches in August that caused major flooding and led to my having to get a new roof.

So, now there is Hurricane Michael. It completely bypassed my area of Florida, but, it hit the Panhandle as a category 4. Apparently, it is the third-most-powerful storm ever to hit the U.S. mainland. Wow.
Best of luck if anyone is in the path of Hurricane Florence. It is almost exactly a year after Hurricane Irma struck Florida, where my area was spared the worst of it, even though I had to go without electricity for five days. Florence looks to bypass Florida, only bringing some big surfs to the beaches. It appears that Florence will strike worst at the Carolinas, especially bringing rain that could be as bad or worse as that brought by Hurricane Harvey last year in Texas.
