They're a distributor that specializes in foreign films (for theatrical release) and in DVD releases of movies that Paramount doesn't care to release. They're reputable--they don't just tape the movies off of TCM and put them onto a DVD-R. They've put out, among other films, Bergman's Face to Face, the TV-movie Playing For Time, Summer and Smoke, Rudolph Mate's Union Station, and Jacqueline Susann's Once Is Not Enough. The only contemporary release of theirs I've seen is the deadly boring The Temptation of St. Tony.

What is Olive Films? Is it reputable?

I have My Son John in an acceptable VHS tape, but it would be cool to have a pristine DVD of this fascinating, problematic film. Plus some Tashlins (Who's Minding The Store has been especially difficult to see) and Nick Ray and David Janssen. Potentially very exciting.
