I'm always buying DVD's and usually don't list anything here, but I recently bought a Swedish disc of Milos Forman's Taking Off which has a beautiful anamorphic transfer. It can also be watched without Swedish subtitles.

Also Arise, My Love has been released on DVD in Spain by Universal with a beautiful print and no forced subtitles.

Both can be purchased at DaaVeeDee.

Tatlong Taon Walang Diyos ("Three Godless Years") (Mario O'Hara).

Noel Vera called it "arguably the greatest Filipino movie ever made".

Ofcourse it's Lars....a typo error.

Gus may be a porno film director, eliciting the laughs, I guess.
Sorry reza, it's just I'm trying to imagine a film that's say, a cross between Paranoid Park and Antichrist, and it's making me laugh. Two pretty disparate cinematic personalities.

Now I remember why I made the error. I was reading a review of the Van Sant film Gerry while posting about Antichrist.
