Universal Home Video has announced a 30th Anniversary release of The Wiz which stars Diana Ross, Michael Jackson, Lena Horne, and Richard Pryor. This Sidney Lumet directed musical will be available to own from the 5th February, and should retail at around $19.98. The film itself will be presented in 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen, along with an English Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround track. As far as we know, the only extra material will be a Wiz on Down the Road featurette, and the theatrical trailer. An 8-Track Bonus CD Featuring Songs by Michael Jackson & Diana Ross will also be included.
