Oh, tough one. Hayward, Signoret, Loren, Bancroft and Neal are all the most worthy in my opinion (I adore Andrews, but not in Mary Poppins; and I prefer Taylor's 50s performances--Giant, Cat, etc.). Ultimately, I went with Simone Signoret--a shattering, sublime performance.
