Tough choice - Kline, Pesci, Hackman and Landau are all top choices. I voted a while back so I can't remember who I selected, but let's say I went with Kline.

Landau. No contest. Hackman, Washington, Pesci, and Kline (in no particular order) are my runners-up.

Went with Landau although Gene Hackman is scary close to being my choice.

Incidentally, Robin Williams, while dull in Good Will Hunting, at least didn't screech his film to a hault like Jack Palance did in City Slickers.

Eventually went with Gene Hackman, but it was a tough choice between him, Kevin Spacey and Martin Landau.

I voted for Hackman without any hesitation.

I really hadn't realized just how good this category was for this period. I voted Landau, but Spacey, Hackman and Kline are right up there too. After that, I can't argue with the selections of Washington nor Pesci, although both had superior competition. In fact, only Williams really upsets me, and Palance and Gooding are good, but not award worthy.
