Very sketchy bio on Wikipedia.

Here's a slightly more detailed one from the Israeli press. Although they weren't married until 1984, Harareet and Clayton were together since the mid-60s when she wrote the screenplay for his fourth film, Our Mother's House.

She was 89.

Israeli actress Haya Harareet dies.

She played the main female lead in William Wyler's Oscar winning Ben-Hur.

Her second husband was British director Jack Clayton.
