I'm glad for him he got to see his career revived thanks to Tarantino, after too long laboring in B-level stuff. My fondest memory of him will always be from Medium Cool.

I don't think Robert Forster ever gave a bad performance. He was brilliant in last year's What We Had and should have gotten an Oscar nod for that over his contemporary Sam Elliott in the over-rated A Star Is Born.

R.I.P. Robert Forster
This is a shock. I'm JUST watching him in El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie and I was thinking, "Oh, goody. Robert Forster! He's always a welcome presence in anything that he appears in." A truly wonderful character actor. RIP.
