The holiday crush made me miss this.
Gimbel was attached to a bunch of songs I loved -- Killing Me Softly the most famous (I can remember the first time I heard the song, one night in my college dorm), I Got a Name a personal favorite (I'd have voted for it over The Way We Were, had it been nominated as deserved), The Girl from Ipanema and I Will Wait for You, and one I didn't realize till reading in the Times today: Little Peggy March's I Will Follow Him. I feel confident that Damien would join me in saluting that as an unforgettable part of our younger days.
