Whether they are behind the camera or in front of it, this is the place to discuss all filmmakers regardless of their role in the filmmaking process.

My dad had the cassette tape of The Eagles' "Their Greatest Hits" (1971-1975) in his 1980 300D Mercedes when my sister and I were growing up. I remember being utterly fascinated by the cover art on that album and seduced by the sound of Glenn Frey's guitar playing. The Eagles became one of my favorite bands and started a love affair with classic rock of the '70s that I still hold onto today.

We seem to be losing musical legends at a rate of one per week.
