It does not have to be available on instant viewing, it just has to be available on Netflix. There are no concrete rules, but choosing something recent would be pointless. The idea is to try and get others to see films that need to be seen. Personally, I might recommend that they not be in a foreign language, at least for now. Otherwise, I'm not quite sure that we need specific rules. Sabin's choice was a film he had not seen yet.

So I'm sorry I missed if we made a concrete decision about a theme or how we choose the film? We want it to be available for instant viewing on netflix...do we want it to have any other criteria at this point?
