This game is verging on acute hysteria now! A simple game being turned into utter chaos.

For my second turn, I'm adding The Godfather to Art Direction.

Your choices made in round 1 cannot be altered. The game is played such that someone later may conjure up memories of things you should have done, but have one pass remaining in which to make the change.

We do have a special award category, Cinemanolis.

You get one choice in the second round, which appears to be so far:

Rudeboy: Aguirre in Cinematography
Cinemanolis: Fosse in Director

If allowed, I'll substitute Ludwig for my nomination of Fat City in costume design.

I won't risk it anymore. My choice is

Best Director
Bob Fosse 'Cabaret'

and if we can indeed add in the special citation category
The cleverness of marketing of 'Sleuth'

P.S. I urge someone to include 'Ludwig' in the Art Direction, Costumes, Cinematography categories.

At the risk of being a total pain the ass, I have another suggestion.

Allow anyone who wants to add a citiation they didn't think of before to do so on second pass, thus preserving Manolis' tribute to Sleuth.

Also, if it's OK I'd like to change my visual effects pick from Frenzy to Aguirre, Wrath of God. I was stretching to inlcude Frenzy in this category and didn't think of Aguirre until Rudeboy included, now deleted, it. It's a much better choice.

Then remove my second round choices from the results thread, keeping the cinematography of Aguirre as my one choice.

Since I was rather iffy on the whole thing, but it doesn't seem like there are many objections and looking at it in the light of a new day, I think we'll do as Magilla suggested, which is as follows:

Two passes through the turn order.

Pass 1) Each player places one choice into every category.

Pass 2) Each player may add one selection to any category that does not have nominations equal to the number of players (currently 11) or may pass.

After the second pass, a new year is called.

Since we've changed how the second phase goes, we'll go back to the top of the turn order, eliminating any changes anyone made on the second turn and give Rudeboy one category and addition to play with.

Maybe we should just leave alone what's already been done and just continue on with Oscar Guy's single pick.
