Five - the number should be five in the acting categories and we should allow supporting performances prior to 1936 as well, but, argggh!

That really does suck. Colbert gave an amazing performance...and now she's gone...

Ok, I have to do this: as much as I enjoy Claudette Colbert in It Happened One Night, I have to replace her with what I think is Greta Garbo's greatest performance, in Queen Christina.

I preserve Frank Capra for It Happened One Night.

When in doubt, Damien's Inside Oscar is a good place of reference to come up with overlooked films for each year.

It was not released in the U.S. until 1947, so it would not be eligible for this year.

I'm here. I'm here.

Question: can I do anything with 'L'Atalante'? I have no idea when it was restored but it is one of my five favorite films of all time.

Did you know there's a gay porn star by the name Erik Rhodes? He's quite a mess, but hot as hell. And one of the best bottoms in the industry.
