Hustler's not the only one. There are numerous players who wait until it's their turn or later to announce they "haven't seen enough" films in a particular year or are "passing".

It's so much nicer when those who do not wish to participate in a particular year would say so at the start of play in that year instead of waiting until they see their name in lights.
