No genre. It's the film I mentioned that's about our part of the world (the Brits in India) and filmed partly in Pakistan.

Reza, depends on your audience. Are they already familiar with the films or new to them? If new, then most of these are wonderful choices.

What genre does Bhowani Junction represent?

I'm hosting a small film festival of classic films in Islamabad tonight......one film a week.

I have chosen 6 films covering different genres....film noir, horror, gothic romance, western, comedy and the western. In addition I've chosen one film that is set in my part of the world and actually filmed here and bookended these 7 titles with two films from 1950.....one dealing with the theatre and the other about Hollywood itself.

The films I've chosen to screen are:

All About Eve (1950)
Rebecca (1940)
Laura (1944)
Funny Face (1957)
Some Like It Hot (1959)
The Searchers (1956)
Whatever Happened to Baby Jane? (1962)
Bhowani Junction (1956)
Sunset Blvd (1950)

Guys, I need your feedback. Do you think these films are a good representation of the different genres or should I substitute any other films?

Thanks.
