There isn't any professional award called the Alexandria. This was the name of the personal awards of a guy from Canada who used to post here by the name of Gillespie. I've forgotten his first name, it may have been Paul.

Anyway, he used to have his own website which contained all the show business awards but it got too expensive for him to maintain. His website was migrated over to Gold Derby aka The Envelope where it formed the basis of that site's previous awards database. Initially his awards were listed there but he had them take them down. I, however, have them on Words up to 2003, the lat time he posted them on his own website. If you're interested, let me know and I'll e-mail them to you.

In the meantime, here's a sample - his 1933 awards for which he nominated Spring Byington in Litte Women - she lost to Mary Astor in The World Changes (winners near the bottom)

I want help to find a database for the Alexandria's award. I never heard of it until I visited GarboForever's awards page and I got interested. Does anybody know where I can find a database. If you look at Spring Byington's wikipedia page there is reference for the alexandria's award to The Envelope, but I can't find anything about it there.
