Mountain Tops Another Gay Movie Poll
9 September 2008 6:30 PM, PDT
Brokeback Mountain has topped a second gay movies poll in as many days.
The hit 2005 film beat Beautiful Thing to the top of an online poll compiled by AfterElton.com on Monday and now the movie, starring Jake Gyllenhaal and the late Heath Ledger, has claimed the top spot in a new Gay.com readers poll.
More than 20,000 readers voted for their favourite films, TV shows and songs from the past 25 years and Brokeback Mountain beat the Lord of The Rings trilogy to first place on the movie list.
Madonna's Vogue topped the Best Song category ahead of Cher's Believe and Kelly Clarkson's Since U Been Gone.
Queer As Folk won the Best TV Show prize, just beating Golden Girls by three per cent.
