I expected to find a revised trailer and found the whole 14 1/2 minute film.
You are quite the Renaissance man, aren't you? Writer, producer, director, composer and star!
It's a clever little noir that I went back and watched a second time to get what I'd missed the first time around. Great analogy, laying people off really is a lot like murder.

Downsizing
It's finally finished. It took a little longer than I wanted. I blame that on the infants.

I made the music myself. Thanks for comments guys. I'm going to put up another trailer in a about two weeks once I have all of the footage shot. There'll be a little more explanation on the story next time around.rain Bard wrote:Nice trailer! Where's the music come from?

here's a little teaser for you

Alright, this sucker is finally nearing completion. I have only one more major scene to shoot and a handful of random shots to sprinkle about for transitions. After that I'll need to edit the remainder, compose the score, and render it (which takes a lifetime). I'll also be working on a trailer to be uploaded by the end of the week.

I knew all the shots I wanted and shot several takes each. Another factor in the amount of time it took is probably that it's a relatively short scene (I estimate 2 min max) and there's only one line and we added it on-site. Other scenes tend to take longer.Greg wrote:Zahveed wrote:The scene took a little under two hours to shoot.
Which is nice and fast. It probably means you are either another Alfred Hitchcock or another Ed Wood. :;):

UPDATE:
We got some really good shots in on Monday. The scene is a pivotal point in the story, the first confrontation between Max and Alex. If editing goes as planned it should be very tense and erratic. The scene took a little under two hours to shoot.
