Well, to me, Bardem's nomination fits perfectly with their spastic style and I'm not surprised they nominated a performance that I, unlike the rest of you, thought was merely serviceable and certainly a performance anyone could have done better with (except maybe Mel Gibson or Kevin Costner).
I was going to credit them for nominating no one more than Jessica Biel from I Now Pronounce, but they nominated Sandler too. Too bad he can't go the way of his fellow SNL alums and overdose on something...
