Yes, but it's even more puzzling then that The New World came in second to Grizzly Man. I can understand a group of people being frustrated by the film and therefore not liking it. But for a group to appreciate it enough and still prefer something like Grizzly Man?

Either way, most of these choices are pretty awesome.

The 13th Annual Skandies, named after Skander Halim, writer of 'Pretty Persuasion' from apparently the "glory days" of early film message boarding that spawned the likes of Harry Knowles and turned Mike D'Angelo & his ilk into the hipster internet critics du jour this side of slant.
