I've never seen Bo Derek's Tarzan the Ape Man[/I, which leaves this a toss-up between Stripes] and The History of the World, Part 1. The Mel Brooks lesson wins the toss.

Lisa Henson, Jim Henson's daughter, was president of the Lampoon this year.

Individual Awards:

Kirk Douglas Award for Worst Actor: Warren Beatty, Reds
Jane Fonda Award for Worst Actress: Katharine Hepburn as the Creature from the Golden Pond
The Grouch Oscar (for worst performance by a puppet: Miss Piggy, The Great Muppet Caper
The Brian DePalma "It Takes a Thief" Award: To Francis Ford Coppola, Alfred Hitchcock, Brian DePalma, Michelangelo Antonioni, Franklin D. Schaffner, William Friedkin, the Kennedy family, and John Avildsen, all of whom were robbed by Brian DePalma during the making of Blow Out.
