Best Actor 1968-1977

Post by Big Magilla »

There are some tough choices here with Hoffman, Nicholson, Pacino, De Niro - the best actors of their generation all acting at their peak with their elders - Brando, Mastroianni, Finch, Scott and O'Toole not doing too shabbily either. Only Woody Allen, basically playing himself, seems out of place on this list.

It's tough call, but I have to go with Hoffman ever so slightly over Nicholson, both of whom were at their peak then.
