She, or her company, was a consultant on those films, whatever that means. She's basically a blank page as far as her history is concerned. We shall see what we shall see. Let's give her a chance.

Especially since she was involved in the campaigns for The King's Speech and The Artist...this has Harvey's hands all over it. That and racial/gender politics. The Academy is trying to live down a bad reputation that showcases its largely old, largely male demographic. Hawk Koch almost exemplified that, as have most of the last few presidents of the Academy. I'm glad they did it, but I still roll my eyes at their motives.
