I know not all of them are winners, but can we acknowledge how incredible the cast of '77's The Sentinel is?

Re: Films with the most Oscar acting award winners
The films listed here are ones with winners only. It's already listed on the first page of this thread.ksrymy wrote:Amistad has Morgan Freeman (2S, 3L, 1W), Nigel Hawthorne (1L), Anthony Hopkins (1S, 3L, 1W), Matthew McConaughey (1L), Chiwetel Ejiofor (1L), Anna Paquin (1S, 1W), Djimon Hounsou (2S), David Paymer (1S), Pete Postlethwaite (1S) for a total of 8 Supporting nods, 9 Leading nods, and 3 wins.
Therefore, Amistad only qualifies for 3:
1 Lead (Hopkins), 2 Supporting (Freeman, Paquin).
Amistad will get upgraded to 2 Lead, 2 Supporting should McConaughey or Ejiofor win when the Oscars winners are announced.
I suppose a thread could be started up for films with nominees & winners but it would go on too many pages.
