Thanks so much for the response. With the demanding folks here, I thought it would be interesting and a lot of fun; but I couldn't find any past threads for such discussions.

I hope we get to vote like the critics do, i.e, ranked choices.

Does this board conduct its own selection of the "best of" films each year?
I believe we usually do it closer to the end of the year and into the new year when everyone is caught up. Not to say it couldn't be done sooner though. It just wouldn't be an accurate selection.

Would be fun. Hopefully, most of us will be able to see most of the talked about films by the end of December.
