It took almost two hours to get through it.

I knew about his Lucille Ball connection, but I never knew about his Jane Darwell connection. That was intriguing. Night Must Fall is one of my all-time favorites.

I thought you might enjoy it, Magilla; especially most of his personal Oscar picks for 2008.

I've been listening to this for an hour now while doing other things on the computer but with the constant buffering I'm only halfway through.

Osborne is the official historian of the Academy and last year he replaced Army Archerd as the Academy's official greeter.

He was the first to write a book on the Oscars, Academy Awards Illustrated.

He has his own opinions about both the Oscars and the Oscar show which come across in the interview, much of which we would agree such as the abolishment of of the best song category and the rewarding of lead performers in the supporting category e.g. Walter Matthau and Tatum O'Neal.

Not for those jaded about the Academy Awards. Osbourne is a movie lover and a fan of the Academy, but still has some interesting things to say.:
