Well, this seems like it's going to eliminate the tradition of the Best Song nominee from a movie you've never heard of, a tradition that always kind of amused me.
Since there isn't a place for the 91st Oscars yet, I'm posting this here.
Academy announces new Oscar rules for next year's awards.
Most interesting is that the music categories will now have a short list of 15 semi-finalists. The documentary feature category is now more open for contenders as well.
