These are good predictions. My biggest reservation about One Night in Miami is that the costume design is excellent but it's only basically for four people. But this category is more about the perception of costume design than the actual costume design. A better example of this is Mank, which if it wins might end up being the worst winner in this category since... well, the first one I considered was The Artist but really further back. A win for Mank truly would be about the appearance of exquisite costume design and not featured in the movie itself.

Apparently the costume designer for Mulan is at the center of some very, very mild controversy about getting all of her inspiration for the Chinese costumes from European museums.
