They are the vocalists who sing the song in the foreign language versions of the film, so Disney in general chose them.

I liked the idea of the multi-language singing but some voices were really bad. Who chose the singers?

The Frozen song performance was dreadful, but then again, so is the song

A montage of the nominees rather than a clip after each name called. Totally different than how it has been done before but I like it. Sometimes the one clip they would pick to represent the performance was just odd.
