Nice! I hope the work doesn't get in the way of your enjoyment.

Oscar Predictions Contest

Post by anonymous1980 »

Here are the rules just in case you guys forgot them:

01. Predict the winners all 24 categories.

02. You can predict one winner and one OPTIONAL runner-up.

03. A correct prediction with a runner-up gets 2 points, a correct runner-up gets 1 point and a correct prediction with no runner-up gets 3 points.

04. If three or less people correctly predict a category, they will get DOUBLE the points (including runner-up predictions). If you're the ONLY one to correctly predict a category, you get TRIPLE the points. (NOTE: This rule is also applicable to the bonus tie-breaker questions as well)

05. Highest score wins!

06. Deadline for entries/changes would be the moment Jimmy Kimmel begins his opening number and/or monologue.

OPTIONAL BONUS TIE BREAKER POINTS! (3 points each)

01. Which Best Picture nominee/s will go home empty handed? (it has to be EXACTLY right)

02. Who will be the last person in the In Memoriam montage?

FOR MORE BONUS POINTS

03. Which of the presenters and winners of which categories will get FULL standing ovations? (each correct answer is one point...but each WRONG answer is a negative point)

(Funny situation for me this year: As some of you know, I work as subtitle proof-reader for a production company and this year, I'm being asked by my office to come to work early on Oscar night, morning my time.....because HBO Asia is the official carrier of the Oscars and they're our clients so we're being assigned to work the close captions as the Oscars are being aired! It's nice to be able to get PAID to watch the Oscars for a change. Haha.)
