Paddington 2 is a massive critical hit: 88 on metacritic, comparable to most of the BP nominees, and 100% on RT. (Unlike Lady Bird, it's not going to have its score knocked down by some sexist loser looking to make a name for himself. ) It shouldn't be confused with children's fare like Ice Age 2, Kung Fu Panda 2, Madagascar 2, etc.

I haven't seen Paddington 2 but I do know that the first Paddington is absolutely wonderful and critics are responding similarly to the sequel and Hugh Grant is getting some of the best reviews of his career for his performance in it. They should try and make a play for the Supporting Actor Oscar NEXT year.

My bad. Had no inkling there was a need to see Paddington 2.

Haven’t (and won’t) see Paddington, but the other choices are all solid.
