2029 is close enough, they're relatively confident we'll make it that far. 2049 is a matter of pure speculation.

Of course, with Trump, 2029 becomes doubtful.

I didn't post predictions, but I had mistakenly listed 'The Shape of Water' as a fantasy film simply by virtue of being a Guillermo Del Toro film.

Period Film: THE SHAPE OF WATER
Fantasy Film: BLADE RUNNER 2049
Contemporary Film: GET OUT

I just saw Downsizing yesterday (will post something about it later), and had the thought early on that, were it more successful, it''d be clearly in the production design discussion.

Call Me by Your Name. Phantom Thread and The Florida Project are the top best picture contenders missing. I didn't really see Call Me by Your Name as a top contender, since the sets seemed natural, not designed, but the accumulation of missing guilds is unmistakably striking a Carol vibe. WGA today and especially PGA tomorrow are essential if the film is to make a big AMPAS showing.
