By the way, what are for you, other than the shorts, the hardest categories to predict? For me, they are Visual Effects and Costume Design.

Oscar Predictions Contest (with a new twist!)

Post by anonymous1980 »

Here are the rules just in case you guys forgot them:

01. Predict the winners all 24 categories.

02. You can predict one winner and one OPTIONAL runner-up.

03. A correct prediction with a runner-up gets 2 points, a correct runner-up gets 1 point and a correct prediction with no runner-up gets 3 points.

04. NEW WRINKLE: If three or less people correctly predict a category, they will get DOUBLE the points (including runner-up predictions). If you're the ONLY one to correctly predict a category, you get TRIPLE the points. (NOTE: This rule is also applicable to the bonus tie-breaker questions as well)

05. Highest score wins!

06. Deadline for entries/changes would be the moment Jimmy Kimmel begins his opening number and/or monologue.

OPTIONAL BONUS TIE BREAKER POINTS! (3 points)

01. Which Best Picture nominee/s will go home empty handed? (it has to be EXACTLY right)

02. Who will be the last person in the In Memoriam montage?

03. How many of the winners' speeches will mention diversity/immigrants/refugees and/or takes a humorous or serious shot at Trump? (It has to be EXACTLY right)
