Giving Vikander a supporting actress award for Ex Machina is a good way to sidestep the category fraud question over The Danish Girl, but an argument could be made for her being a lead in Ex Machina as well.

Yeah, I caught that. Odd that they announce the runner-up and then the winner. It reminds me of the Miss America pageant.
