As much as I heard American Sniper, shocked Eastwood didn't make it.

No Gone Girl for adapted.

Yep, that was me.

Also, I think rolo and I were the only ones to predict Marion Cotillard for Two Days, One Night. Apparently my animal sacrifices this week did not pay off and Felicity Jones got her (totally expected) nomination.

RIP Jen's Cake campaign. Someone's getting wasted tonight.

Ugh, fucking Robert Duvall. What a lazy, rote nomination.

Gillian Flynn must be pissed. Ditto The LEGO Movie people.

Bradley Cooper could in theory win an Oscar and a Tony this year (but will probably just have to settle for the Tony).

As someone posted earlier, it is always foolish to bet against Meryl.

Very happy we will not have to ever hear the words, Oscar nominee Jennifer Aniston!

A paltry 8 Best Picture nominees this year.

Did Selma get ANY nominations other than Best Picture???

A few shocks:

Every year we get an acting nominee or two with no precursors...Bradley Cooper and Laura Dern this year!
No LEGO Movie
Marion Cotillard finally gets a second nomination after seemingly losing out at the last minute a couple of times
Selma, Picture and Song only!
