As tired I am of the X-Men movies, I have to say that I was quite impressed by the visual effects in the latest one.

The one category all the Transformers have been nominated in is Sound Mixing, so if it Age Of Extinction gets anything it should get that, especially considering Interstellar's problem in that area.

I was going to make this post about how we don't honestly even know if Transformers: Age of Extinction will get any nominations because since the first Transformers, there's been a sharp downturn in nominations for Transformers movies...but then I looked at how the past Transformers films have done...
