Done.

Thank you for this and what an odd year when the 3 most likely to be heavily voted are actually the 3 heavy contenders tomorrow evening. It seems in past years this would have been a battle amongst Selma, Imitation, and Sniper. Your survey then with majority of votes coming in (at least from this board) on Boyhood or Birdman or Budapest would show the true dichotomy of what you're likely to find between "superfans" like us without a voice and actual Academy voters.

I guess I can’t participate in good conscience if the deadline is so soon. So, I’ll just settle on wishing you good luck with the project.

First, thanks to all of you who participated.

Second, yes, I am legitimate. I work at Leipzig University at the University Library (see here, only German: https://www.ub.uni-leipzig.de/forschung ... senschaft/) and I am specialized in film studies. If anyone's still concerned, the questionaire consists only of picking your favorite nominee in each Oscar category and some socio demographics. No IP is saved or tracked, no personal data needed to provide, the site is SSL-secured. You may leave your e-mail after completing the questionaire to get informed about the results but this information is stored in a separate database. Therefore I cannot see which person entered what data.

Third, the survey will be open until Feb 21, 23:59 MET so I can tabulate everything and give everyone the "winner's list" of the survey before the Oscar show begins.

Please share the link so I can get even more votes. Thanks a lot!

Well, I will have to see some more of the nominees before I answer this.

How long are you going to keep the survey open, Sebastian?

Yes, he's legitimate. The survey goes back to the University of Leipzig where 36 year-old writer-producer-director Sebastian Stoppe is located.

You can check his bio out at IMDb. You can also buy his books at Amazon.

I've held back on the same basis. This person could well be sincere, and I'd be perfectly willing to participate. But I don't click on links from strangers in emails, and I'm wary of doing it here, either.
